Statement
Using food and cooking scenes as a starting point, he draws oriental motifs such as his own philosophical concepts of fillets and enso. I put a lot of importance on drawing a lot, and this is where all my work comes from. In recent years, we have made our own canvases that link to the contents of the paintings, and we have been working to create works that allow us to weave our own art history from Japan, using traditional drawing materials such as ink as well as oil.

食や料理の風景を出発点として、自身の哲学的概念である【切り身】や【円相】といった東洋的なモチーフを描いています。私はドローイングを大量に描く事を非常に重要視しており、作品は全てここから生まれています。近年は絵の内容とリンクするようなキャンバスを自作したり、油彩の他に墨など古来の描画材を用いながら、日本から独自の美術史を紡いでいけるような作品を目指しています。
